Meet our Santa Monica, CA Dentists Dr. Benjamin freed

As a general dentist, Dr. Freed strives to provide high quality and professional care while considering the needs of his patients. 

Dr. Freed holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from UC Davis where he graduated with honors. He spent three years working in public health research before beginning his education in dentistry. He graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry where he was a recipient of the Dean’s scholarship. He continued on to a general practice residency at the West LA Veterans Hospital where he received advanced training in all aspects of general dentistry, management of medically compromised patients as well as training in oral surgery and the placement and restoration of dental implants. 

His connection to his community and public health dentistry led him to a clinic in the city of San Fernando where he held the position of Dental Director. Here he was responsible for patient care as well as assisting in the transition of the clinic to a federally qualified health center and building an affiliation with UCLA School of Dentistry. Since leaving the valley he has continued in private practice in Santa Monica. 

He is thrilled to be able to work in the city where he was born and raised and further connect with the community he loves. He is an avid cyclist and also enjoys playing soccer and working on any do-it-yourself projects in his free time.
